Cooper S N14B16A Remanufactured
 

Does anyone knows what comes with a purchase of a "N14B16A" MINI Cooper S R56 Short Engine?


I guess my question goes referring to:


Does it comes with a new water pump?
Does it comes with a new Valve cover?
Does it comes with a Vacuum pump?
Does it comes with the oil filter assembly?


etc...


I tried to call two places and they seemed to not reveal the secret.

I don't know about remanufactured, but a new crate motor from MINI comes with all of those things. Just no turbo, piping, etc.

Comes as a complete engine except for intake manifold, exhaust manifold, turbo, fuel rail, injectors and HPFP from what I remember. MINI also has a install kit with the additional gaskets and seals you will need. Make sure to replace your turbo oil feed line. All of this should be shown on RealOEM.com. I believe the engine has a $500 core charge.

Ok thanks... because some at www.waymotorworks.com they say it comes with:

- oil filter assembly
- thermostat and thermostat housing
- water pump with tubing to thermostat housing
- valve cover
- oil pan and oil pump
And all the internals..

But of course with out the:
- intake manifold
- exhaust manifold
- pulleys
