Headlight trim removal

So I'm wanting to remove the trim around my headlights on my 2008 MCS to change the color if I can. I've searched the How Tos and done a search and haven't been able to find anything.

Any ideas? Or is it more I have to tape them off and do it that way...
Thanks for any information

Take a small flathead screwdriver on the underside when the bonnet is up and press the clips toward the center of the headlight opening. get one or more done and the others are easy

Awesome. Easy enough. What do you think would be the best paint to use to change color?

chrome doesn't hold paint well. Try plastidip first to see it black if thats what you want

Good diy here,

plasti dip will work

, but after a while you might get some tears and dings from debris, the black line painted ones hold up better, i had them.

Good luck on whatever you choose.
