Does anyone know how you can revert your ECU?
My ECU was updated by the MINI dealership after they replaced my HPFP, now accessport will not recognize the ECU. Cobb Tuning said this is the only way I can get the AP to work.

 

Have you asked the dealership? If it can be done, they may not be willing.....if that is the case, you might check for an independent shop with the right (expensive) equipment. My local indy can update my ecu just like the dealership.

 

I'm no where near a dealership, 6 hours away, but there is an Indy that might have the equipment. Thank you

 

I talked to the local Indy shop, they said they have the equipment to update the ECU but you can't go back to an older version. Now I'm stuck on what else to do.

 

What a pain! Sorry to hear it.

I guess I won't update my ecu as long as I have the AccessPort.....
