Mini cooper won't start
 

Last night, my girlfriend started her 2007 mini (non turbo) and it sounded for a second like it was having trouble starting... this morning, it won't start at all. My foot is on the brake in the video... after I turn the stereo/blower motor off, you can just hear a click at about 20 seconds into the video. Headlights/etc are working. Where do I start?

I'd start with the battery..

Yep... battery. I found it weird that it wouldn't crank at all. I took it and had it test... rated at 480cca, only had 159. Popped a new one, and she's back running. Read the voltage via my obd-ii scanner (live data) and a solid 14+V at idle so alternator is good.

Gawd I love it when I'm right ;) Just curious, was it the original battery?
