R56 Antenna Base Seal Replacement

The seal surrounding my antenna base has deteriorated and is 50% gone. The antenna works fine, I'd like to avoid a $300-400 bill to replace the entire unit (w/sat radio).

Any ideas/suggestions on how to get just the seal? Seems like a new one would be almost like a rubber band - expands to place around the parameter.

Maybe try some silicone sealant? It works on boats.

The gasket is part of the base. It depends on your options as to what base you need. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=65_1678

You can forget about getting the sealing gasket, the sealing gasket is built-in to the Antenna Base, I bought mine from ECS Tuning for about $300 and now there $170.
