Is this a feature, is my car possed or auditioning 4 chitty chitty bang bang part ii
 

So today I was doing some detailing in my garage when I needed the car outside. So I just put the trans into neutral and released the parking brake.
As the car was rolling (I was NOT inside the vehicle) the ignition suddenly popped on; full ignition.
I did not try to start it: in fact I was so shocked that I do not fully remember what I did other than to make sure the key was not engaged.
Any thoughts? Kinda cool if an alarm sounded as a safety feature to alert to a roll away.

Is her name Christine?
