Hi All,

I'd like to tow my R56 behind my RV but the kit that get's attached to the front of the mini is for an s and base. (Mine has the JCW body outside). Do you guys think it will fit behind the JCW front bumper as well?

I don't want to spend the money to find out I have clearance issues.

ok, probably not many people towing minis here.

I'm new to mini. Could somebody throw a tape measure on the mini s lower front bumper grill? That would be handy. I'll measure the jcw grill and see if they match.

I'm pretty sure the JCW front bumper has more clearance then the Justa and S bumpers do. Some intercoolers fit just fine behind the JCW bumper and not so well behind the S. So I would think you're ok to pull that trigger

 

On my 2011 R56S, the lower grille (in front of the intercooler) measures 5-3/4 inches tall, and the grille opening in the bumper looks to be right at 6 inches. I think are some mounting tabs for the grille that protrude into the bumper opening when the grille is snapped out.

 

use a trailer, or car hauler. Seems like a lot less wear
