Arrrgggh can't take these seats no more!!

2009 R56 with fake leather (IE sheet plastic) seats, one of my hates about this car....

Desperate for some decent well fitting mini seat covers that fit well and let my (sweaty here in CA) ass breathe.

Options? Please help!!

I just bought the Black,Lounge leather seats, with white piping. Fronts and Rear, from a 2011 JCW Clubman from a salvage yard in Md., and installed them in my 2013 JCW R56. (Probably replaced the same seats you have.)
Cost was $700.00 + palleting and shipping. The seats included the heaters and everything from the frame rails up. They were going to toss in the rest of the interior for not too much more, but I didn't want all of it. Just the seats.

You can buy OEM Mini Seats from salvage yards and private sales all across in the US. Sometimes pretty cheaply. You just gotta be a little patient. Look at RealOEM for seat part number comparabilities.
I would just change out the seats if you can. Most of the covers I've seen are Ill fitting and cheesy unless you're willing to spend some $$$$. It would probably be a wash in the end.

Another option to consider.

I was thinking the same thing this morning on my drive to work - felt swamp ass-ish. lmfao. I wear a suit everyday to work so I'm always a bit on the warmer side. I just rolled the windows down and enjoyed the morning coolness.

It's not worth $700-$1,000 for me to swap out the seats, IMHO

You definitely don't have to spend what I did.
I was looking for one of two particular seat style and trims, plus they had to have the seat heaters in them. In fact,I really don't consider what I paid to be "a deal" at all. It was just "so-so" to be honest. They can be had for <1/2 to 1/3 of what I spent, especially if you just want to do the fronts.

They are awesome seat covers, however they are neoprene and do not breathe. Won't help your sweaty butt any.

These Mini seats are a little narrow for my butt, something a tab wider for my wide butt. The GP seats will do.

My couches are cloth, how I hate cloths seats. I'll take leather everytime, spilling fluids on leather is so much easier than grabbing my steam cleaner. To each his own.

mini of the woodlands uses katzkin.com for custom leather interiors. Maybe an option for you
