Painted wheel arches?

I'm near Phoenix and am interested in having the wheel arches on my JCW Coupe painted in body color (or red, the roof color). Anybody have a place in Phoenix that can do that job? Thanks in advance.

First you'll want to buy the wheel arches that come primered and are ready to paint rather than trying to sand down the one you have on the car now.

Thanks. What I'm looking for is some outfit in Phoenix who can do all that for me. I figure the'd know where to get those arches.

If the shop knows how to do it, it shouldn't be an issue sanding it down. It's not like you're doing it, let the pros do it and they can make it just as good as the primered versions. Mine were the stock unprimered versions and they came out flawlessly, and I have a 2nd set that's waiting on paint since I've chewed up my current set of arches. Well worth it.

Yeah you need a second set of painted fender arches just incase you get a bad rock chip or scrape from debris, on the freeway there's plenty of stuff that can get kicked up after going under a big heavy truck. When I see there's a cement truck in front me I change lanes immediately. Insurance companies will cover you if it didn't hit the ground first, once it hits the ground it's on your dime.

I've seen a lot of whole-car dips that are completely bad ***. Probably going that route myself in a few weeks. Go to dipyoucar car.com, Fonzie has some amazing youtube videos.

I understand what you are looking for, and for that specific thing, Plasti Dip isn't the solution. But you may want to expand your options because for the price, full dips offer some remarkable value.

Plus its just fun to do! I have another set of mirror caps, wheels, scuttles, scoop and fuel cap that I have started plastidipping. Electric Lime Green on Laser blue! Its going to be my winter set this year. When its done in spring, Ill remove the dip and start over. Or I just may spray over it and go from there.

I'm more of a see any truck, get the heck away, either pass, switch lanes, or drop back. Around here it seems that any truck starts throwing rocks at you.

I agree with that. never ride behind a big anything for that matter if at all possible... big tire and multi tire anything are going to be throwing whatever they run over...

Yesterday I was behind a big truck that was hauling machines designed for assphault and it was throwing little black **** into my lane, I pulled off the freeway onto the shoulder and said to myself ***** this! Other cars could be seen swerving out of the way, those trucks can cause accidents! It was just before rush hour.
