Turbo Oil Feed Line Tutorial

Hello all,
I finally got around to writing up a tutorial on how to fix the all too common leaking Turbo Oil Feed Line tutorial. I was able to complete this because of all the helpful posts and people on this forum, so thank you all. Check it out and hopefully this helps someone with this issue instead of paying $1k+ at the stealership!

any particular reason all of that needs to be replaced if it's the o-ring on the top banjo bolt causing the issue?

The O-ring that fails is in the joint from the flexible line to the end fitting. It is not replaceable.

Nice job & thanks for the effort you put forth to help out those who will have to got through this. Even if paying someone else to do it folks will understand what is involved & be able to judge pricing as an informed consumer.

I had the same question.. Unless the OE line had internal rubber seals... In which case I'd just toss in some copper brake washers.

That lower heat shield is such a pain! Any tips on getting it off? Those top screws are so hidden up there...how did you get them back on?

Undo the battery the alternator is under there, I found out.
you start removing bolts until it comes off, helps to move frame apart.
