Yea, That smoke if you reeving the engine and then putting it into drive possibly on the transmission. I would stop doing that all together till you figure out was going on . The Oil leak at the front would be easily seen need the turbo.

You need to dig into that shiftier section.

For the oil line and oil filter housing leak.

So took me a while to figure this out but I took it to a local mechanic, and it looks like it will be the engine not being well sustained. so this engine mount you mentioned should do the trick?

This is just plain wrong, at least with respect to my 2009 Cooper S:

The coolant pipe had a wiring harness attached to the tab in the middle. Used a hammer and big screwdriver to knock the harness off the tab.

One of the tabs closer to the end also got caught on some wiring. It was easy to move the wiring out of the way once I could find it between openings in the intake manifold.

Obviously you don't like being contradicted by your elders, but:

Mine had wires attached in a small wire harness to the middle tab. I used a hammer and big screwdriver to drive that small harness out by breaking the tab.

So, obviously, on some Minis, there are wires attached to one of the tabs.

I posted a similar note last night, and I see that it was deleted.

I shop at ECS Tuning. If you're trying to convince me not to shop there anymore, have this one deleted.
