timing chain & tensioner problem on r56 justa?

I heard especially "s" models have problem with timing chain. I think even justas can have problem with timing chain as well. since winter starts (live in southern california), I hear rattle noises after warmed up and drive car for several miles and put on shift "d" and stops on red light. when I put in neutral mode or parking mode, rattle sound is dissapeared. It could be the timing chain problem right?
anybody who got justa suffers same problem or fixed it, please let me know with your mileage and what year. how much did you spend on it?
thanks

The lack of response is that I think not many justa owners have had the timing chain replaced. I say I think. There are not 1000 threads here on justas, just the S.

Mine has sounded like a diesel upon start up since it was new.

I have not been overly worried about it.

anyone have ideas of what this could be ... it's consistent and doesn't increase when applying throttle ... timing chain? ... hope not as I hear that's an S issue.

Did you check your oil level? It's really important to keep the level up where it should be.

I haven't read of any straight Coopers having timing chain issues, but this forum is mostly S and JCW drivers, so it might just be that straight Coopers aren't well represented.

Mine is a 2011, with 24,000 miles, no bad noises...

I didn't hear anything that sounds like the timing chain in the video. Then again, I didn't hear any rattles at all, so probably inconclusive.
