OBD and Telemetry

Has anyone purchased and OBD reader or done anything with getting telemetry from the cars computer?

I've been running the Torque Pro app with a VGate (eBay) bluetooth OBDII adapter for a month...and love it! I used it every time I get in the car. I use it mainly to read my water temp. but it does a bunch of other cool stuff.

Sorry if this sounds mean but this is a question that has been asked MANY MANY MANY time.

As this is common to ALL 2nd Gen cars there is TONS of information on this subject in the section where this thread should be named the Modifications > Electrical Section.

But yes there are MANY ways of getting this info via ODBII.

Scan Gauge
Torque App - For Android Phones
Rev App - IPhones

Those are just a few of the options

There are also many ways to get it into a laptop or other computer via ODBII Bluetooth, ODBII USB, ODBII WiFi etc.

So head on over to the Modifications Electrical Section or use google.

Sorry I put this in the wrong section. I did initially think to put it in the Electrical section but then again, this is not Electrical, this is Software and Hardware so I put it in the General area.
