Has your Mini R56 ever bottomed out due to many passengers ?

I know its dumb but has anyone ever bottomed out their mini when carrying people @ the rear passenger seats ?
I have other cars to haul my family and kids but on emergency situations, can i put 3 kids @ the back of the mini and my wife in the front seats ? total of 5 passengers ?
My kids are around 15 years old and below.
I don't plan to mod or lower the car in any way.

I got almost 600 pounds of topsoil in the back of an R50. No issues. I don't know if the same would work in an R56, but I plan to find out! Check the manual if you are really concerned - it might have a note on load weight.

I've had 3 co-workers with me in Fenimore. No bottoming.

For what you are asking it to do you should have no problems at all.

It should be no problem. The "Approved Gross Weight" minus "Curb Weight" in the Owner's Manual works out to about 800 pounds of loading capacity.

Needless to say, you shouldn't put 3 passengers in back with no middle seat belt, except in a true emergency (and if it is a real emergency you won't care about bottoming out anyway). BTW, "bottoming out" meaning the suspension hitting its limits, not the car bottom scraping the ground.

Seriously, if you have to haul around a bunch of people, get a different car. The R56 is really a 2 seat car, with the option of occasional rear seat use by people that you really don't like...lol

It's hard to get in back, it isn't comfortable, it makes me have to squish my seat up to drive. (unless they have no legs)

Thin 911 for 1/4 the price. It has rear seats, you just don't use them.

Besides, I'd have to take my golf clubs out to get someone back there.

Frankly, with me only I've scraped the cowling in parking lots near drains, and where roads of dissimilar heights come together. Just part of the MINI learning process! I can still get around twisties faster than before!
