I finally hit nice weather so I could take the motorcycle to work and leave my MINI ugly and ringless sitting in the driveway. I think he turned them around in a single day. I shipped them out on Friday the 30th and on the 4th I had a tracking number for my return shipment. He offered do my rear trim rings and my windshield washer covers for free as well so it would all match!

Here they are freshly unwrapped and looking tasty.

These things install so quick and easy. My car having gotten freshly rained on after I washed it on Saturday in anticipation, looks much better now.

It's in the plans. I did it with my F150 headlights no problem. I'm more than a little intimidated by these though, simply because of the replacement cost if I screw them up!

I was intimidated to at first, but I used all the Joey Mod threads I could find and went with the baking method for lack of a heat gun. If you do do it, I would recommend sanding all the chrome off the rings down to clear plastic. Then, if you use a translucent paint, the rings will glow when your lights are on. Mine glow orange which looks pretty cool.
