Are the grab handles (passenger side) and the side visor (driver side) interchangeable? The contours of the headliner seem to be the same on both sides, and the bolts seem to be the same distance. I mention this because I like having a grab handle on my side. I could order one from parts and install.

 

I haven't done this myself, but I have read that they are interchangeable. Someone had replaced the passenger side handle with a sun visor.

Why don't you just swap them, side-to-side? Then you'd have a driver's-side handle, and a passenger-side visor - - for no cost at all.
