Is there any advantage to waiting for the 2012 MC to come out before taking the plunge? From what I've read, it sounds like there's not going to be much new with the 2012's, as the 2011's were a bit of a re-boot. Unless the Rocketman is coming out soon!

 

The 2012 model year probably will have little to no changes since as you said, the 2011 was the mid cycle refresh. But there could be a surprise with something not yet announced. There might be a change in what colors are offered.
Of course depending on economy and sales, your likely to have a chance to get a better deal now than right at the start of the new model year. Then again, 3 years down the road the 2012 will be worth more than the 2011...all things being equal.
To me, if I wanted a MINI and wanted to get rid of what I had, I would probably pull the trigger now as I would think anything new for 2012 will be minimal. The 0.9% financing and other incentives may not be available when the new model year cars become available.
