is it ok to drive my 08 mini cooper s with check engine light on with the fault code CC-ID 031 for a week until my service appointment comes up .....

FWIW 2 different sites stated the "increased emissions" code is what is showing. One said the engine was running rough.

Not an answer, but hope it sheds some light. If you aren't having rough engine running it could just be a sensor but the way cars are made now who knows.
