Do you have any other pics with the 15mm spacers all around? Thinking of adding a set of spacers.

Ladies and Gentlemen -
Perhaps I'm reviving this thread but I was reading it in full for the past few days. I just got a new to me 2012 MCS EG with 25,000 miles, one-owner, no accidents lease return. Very happy here, it was not my first color choice but when I saw it in the dealer lot I really liked it. I have a ton of questions and will post pictures this weekend. I believe it is the base MCS however I noticed it has the 17" conical wheels so I'm not sure if it has the sports package. It has the manual but no window sticker available. I will try to contact MINI to get the car details with VIN number. I will be posting pictures this weekend. This will be a "toy" car for the weekends. My first MINI!

Welcome! there are a bunch of BMW VIN decoders that work for mini. Just google it and you can have all the options in seconds. much easier than calling mini.

Hi all, just purchased a 2012 Clubman S in Eclipse Gray, wanted to order some of the Black (the roof is black) touch up paint from Dr ColorChip and there are two choices, does anyone know which it is ...

B11 Absolute Black or A94 amidnitht Black, I’m assuming this is the same color in the Interior too.

Thanks, Nick

Neither of the above. Both are metallic black, but the contrasting roof is a non-metallic.

I found this thread from years ago where this was discussed, hope it helps you.

Thanks, Jet Black makes perfect sense and it matches up with Dr ColorChip.

New to me 2013 MCS Eclipse Grey

Likely purchasing this car next week and wondering about the rim color. Should I stick with the silver or get them powder coated black?

Do electric blue. It totally works, trust me.

Good to see the Eclipse Grey thread back up, posted here way back when I got my mini, I've done some work to it since then. This was one foggy morning on the dragon in Tennessee racing around with my buddy in his s2000.

New to me as of a couple weeks ago, my 2013 MCS with JCW aero kit. I added the stripes and love the outcome.

If I'm not mistaken, isn't that a Dark Silver pre-LCI model rather than an Eclipse Grey? Personally I prefer the Dark Silver.

Hi all! I just wanted to say that I just started a new Facebook group called “Eclipse Grey MINI owners Group” if y’all would like to join! Seems as if there’s nothing special for eclipse greys and would love for everyone to join the group to share their EGs 😄

HI all! I could use some advice/ideas with my Eclipse Gray '13 MCS.
Monday I have an appointment to paint the mirrors and top (car has sunroofs) and I'm about to go for the "pop" effect contrast of Chili Red. I think it will be cool, but wondering what to do with the bonnet stripes. I'm not necessarily trying to copy a true JCW...but something cool. The JCW stripes look nice, but I'm down for Viper stripes or bonnet strips also.....my paint guy thinks just red pin stripes where the bonnet strips would normally go....I can't decide, so could use some solid advice from all you cool Eclipse Gray Owners! All ideas appreciated. Had the clean all EG look since new, but now want a wild but not busy look! Thanks!

I've thought about the same contrast color for mine. I currently have black roof and mirrors with silver stripes and wheels but if I went with chili red, I'd change the wheels to black. Bonnet stripes I'd go with black center larger sections with red pin stripe on the outside.

Just found this thread thought I'd chime in, 2011 MCS 6MT track car that's eclipse gray metallic. I don't have many current photos as I'm about to overhaul the car and its on jackstands but my instagram does, @tom.r56

I found mine last year in Atlanta. 2013 JCW Eclipse Gray. I have added the OZ wheels and removed the back seat and did some black-out on a few of the chrome bits. Surprising amount of room in the back without those seats. I can probably fit 3 or 4 dead bodies back there. Not that I need to fit dead bodies in my car though.

Thread revival? Thread revival.

FYI, from a distance carbon fiber and Eclipse Grey look like the same color.
