Anyone Activate Navigation on a 2011 Yet?

I just picked up my Cooper S from the dealer yesterday with MINI Connected and when I go to Navigation it asks for an access code. The dealer and several others I've contacted didn't know much about it but the originating dealer requested the NAV code. I received it via email, input it but it kept coming back invalid. Tripled checked the code with the dealer but no dice on getting it to input. Has anyone been able to successfully activate their nav on a 2011? If so any feedback would be incredibly helpful.

Yep, I picked up my MINI on christmas eve and the nav was all active on pick up. The dealer said he had to get the code, and it was all set up on pick up. I have the sheet with the code with my manuals. I'm surprised your dealer did not not know about that. Not sure if a dealer has to enter it. As mine was all set.

I expected that and for it to be a seamless process but unfortunately none of the local dealers here in So Cal seem to know how to do it. I have a code that was emailed to me but doesn't work when I input it. Going to a few other dealers locally they couldn't activate NAV on their own cars. Frustrating to say the least.

I think it may have helped being a BMW dealer as well, as the new NAV is like the new NAVs in the BMWs.

You said you have MINI connected which I ordered also. Are you sure it has Nav too? Mine is Mini Connected with no Nav so I would not have it. What I am wondering now is if it is just a code to access the info in the computer.
Mazda was like that. It is cheaper to by the unit with everything on it an the more you pay the more access they give you. On the Mazda you hit a few different buttons in order and you had access to the trip computer only available on the more expensive models.

Yeah it's funny but all of the dealers I've visited and spoken to are also BMW dealers. I have a 2009 BMW M3 with he new iDrive which is essentially the exact same as the 2011 MINI with regards to Nav, Bluetooth, etc. but I don't recall having to activate NAV on it.

I'm positive that it has Nav. I was able to access Nav a few times without it asking for the code when the car was off so not sure exactly what the issue is but I'll keep trying. One member here was nice enough to help with their dealer so I'll try them and keep the board updated as I doubt I'll be the last with the issue until all the dealers figure it out. Thanks!

Just a quick follow up in case anyone else has the same issue. BMW did give my dealer another code and it seemed to have solved the problem. It is something you can do yourself, you just need the right code. Thanks again to everyone for their help.
