She's at the dealership. Clutch went out on the way home. :(

If Molly is out of warranty, you might want to shop around for the price of a clutch replacement... My local stealership quoted me $2,850 for parts & labor to replace my clutch... I found a local import shop to do the job for $1,297 using OEM parts... YMMV...

:eek2: I hate to see a MINI on a flatbed. Sorry about your misfortune...hope the repair goes well & quickly so you can motor about & show Molly off the way you want to. Good Luck!

For that price, they should throw in a steak dinner and an evening on the town. And after they've raped your wallet, you should receive a reach-around and a dozen roses the next morning. $2850?? My gawd. :mad:

Even that indy price sounds high. But the stealership quote is just plain insulting.

Well that's not the picture one wants of their MINI being towed up the ramp on to a trailer. Hope the repairs go quickly and Molly is back on the road soon.
