I haven't seen a white silver with a white top yet. Though on the clubman's the roof color does extend down the back pillars. I think there was an option to have them painted body color or roof color. No idea how it will look. I personally don't like that look. Welcome to the White Silver club though. Best color of them all

 

Agree, but isn't that something that everyone says about color of their cars?

How did you get black trim? The website shows silver around the tails.

 

I placed my order on very early batch that they started to accept 2011 orders, in the time they did not have White Silver Package, once people started talk about the W/S package I did not have any idea what they were talking about

 

It looks great. That's why I ordered the white roof. It would look odd with black top,silver trim and white/silver body. You lucked out. Again the perfect color combo. Congrats

Warranty was almost up, so traded up to new 2011 Clubman S with White Silver package. Was at dealer for service. The new car had just come in to show new color. We came to an agreement offer same day and it was ours. Beat the hell out of the wait for the 08 Clubman S. Have had it for 3 weeks now and so far I like it better than old car. Feels better!

Count me in... My white silver ed. Clubman should be starting production shortly if it hasn't already - was 112 last Monday. Black top and mirrors, black/silver rear trim with red/black leather/cloth interior, black sport stripes, headlights and wheels.

 

Joejoe can you tell us the differences you have seen, felt and just find not the same.

Visually, I love the color. It kind of shifts in different light. Sometimes it looks metalic silver, other times it looks grey. Still not sure about the panels surrounding the tail lights and the top of the rear bumber being body color, but didn't have the opportunity to choose. They were black on the '08 I had. Could always repaint those later if I really don't care for the look. I love the wheels. I was contemplating swapping them on the '08 for this color. They are great for disguising brake dust. The alum alloys always looked dirty. The headlights are blacked out behind the clear lens too. I like that look. The brake ducts on the front fascia give it a meaner look too. Other than that, the only other visual change I see is the stereo controls. The volume **** is actually up next to the tuner ****. What a concept.

While I'm on that, the new Harmon Kardon stereo kicks the old ones ***. It is miles ahead of the old one and can handle songs with a little more low end with out rattling the doors.

We ordered our '08 with hood stripes. This one didn't come with them, but I don't miss them. The curves stand out more with out them.

I had the windows tinted just before the picture I showed was taken. The roof came with a little tint on it where the '08 did not. The tint guy said it was 35%, so he put another layer of 35% to darken that up a bit. Went with 50% on door glass, and 35% everywhere else.

Now feel. The new car is quieter on the road than the '08. Don't know if it's true, but supposedly they added more sound insulation. It is quieter though. It feels more planted to the road and at the same time takes bumps better. The exhaust sounds better too. It pops on downshifts in sport mode but you can't really hear it too well unless the windows are down.

Other than that, everything is basically the same. If you have more specific questions please ask. I'll help if I can. Now I have to go fight my wife for the keys so I can take it for a spin. May have to consider buying another. Haha!

That's a hell of a wait time on an order...

 

So, I'm at work today and I get a call from a customer who had just left letting me and my coworkers know that there were some kids in the parking lot messing around with the cars. My heart sank! I park my baby in the back lot. Long story short, stupid delinquent middle/high schoolers went around taking the tire valve caps off cars in the lot, mine was one of them :( Called the cops, can't do much, but thankful it wasn't worse. Anyone know if I have to get replacement MINI valve caps, or if they sell them in like auto part stores?

 

I justed ordered a set from eBay for $5. They have"mini" across the top.

 

Have a White Silver with White Roof and Green Lounge Leather/English Oak interior on order (and nav/connected). It's been manufactured, can't bear the wait.

 

Club Chapin, I am currently agonizing over what color Mini to order. Currently, the top on my list is what you ordered. When it comes in, can you please post pics. I really wanted a WS with the black leather trimmed with white as I thought it would look incredible but of course, its not an available option

I certainly will. It is not due until the end of Jan. I think it just missed the boat that sailed on 9 Dec.

I'm hoping it is a really sharp combination. Alsmost went with the Black Punch Leather seats, but figured everyone has black seats and the green will stand out.
