She's done....spoiler.

For those of you that have been following my spoiler antics, here is the final product.

Still undecided if I like it. Pics definitely don't do it justice. The carbon fiber is candied in yellow. The flash on the camera definitely changed the shade of yellow but you get the idea.

Here she is....

You can see the edge is folded as the side wings get closer to the glass. I point this out because it almost looks like it's one solid piece.

Thanks, pretty soon... I destroyed the first one so I could reuse the base spoiler.

I'm probably going to sell this one and make another style. I like the carbon fibre idea so I'll probably stay with the same style, just smaller....

Looks good, smaller works better for me, this one over-powers a bit. :)

I do like the workmanship, perhaps you could put a little lip on the cross-piece next version.

I agree, I'd like it a bit smaller. The cross piece does actually have a lip. I'll try to take better pics tomorrow in better light.

looks great!! nice work :)

blitzcat Aug 20, 2009 08:19 PM

There seems to be a conflict with the message you are sending between a micky mouse ball and the spoiler

mdrums Aug 20, 2009 09:14 PM

Wow that looks great! Love the overall theme and look of your car too.

Dude you got issues. You change that thing more often then I change underwear. With how much time you have put in it you will probably change it next week. But hey this time it looks sexy time!

orangecrush Aug 22, 2009 05:30 PM

Thanks, the pics don't really help it... it looks much better in person. It seemed to get a lot of positive reactions when we went on a mini run today to the mountains.

Of course, people could just be being polite....lol.

I've got an idea for another style but I'm tired of using my car, doing, undoing, doing, undoing....

Well if you were a bajillion miles away I would say use my car but alas that would not work.

willsblackmini08 Aug 22, 2009 07:48 PM

This is beautiful. What does someone have to do to get one.

And whats up with that pink Jeep in the back there. I'm a bit of a Jeep junkie as well as a MINI junkie.

Rixter Aug 22, 2009 09:13 PM

Looks great Mark

Of course you also did a good job getting the Barney snuck in the back of the photo too

Nicely done!

I'm actually in the process of talking to a company about making a mold. We'll see how much interest there is.

The jeep... yep, my wifes. She wanted a new jeep so I bought her a black one and painted it. Installed lift and tires and she's happy.

That's incredibly good looking, the spoiler I mean.

2 more pix req'd

Mark,

Gotta post a front and rear shot of the final product, now that you have the sport stripes installed. The dinky one in your signature is too small to see properly

Rixter Sep 11, 2009 10:15 PM

Never mind, I just saw your "Absolute final mod" thread. Looks fantastic!!!

Porthos Sep 12, 2009 05:14 PM

Burn the pink Jeep but your spoiler looks a lot like the one for the Clubman

Shoof Sep 12, 2009 06:18 PM
