I shattered the rear red side marker light. I just recieved the replacement in the mail today. Are there any special issues or techiniqes to remove and replace the lens? Are there any instructions around?

The owner's manual should give you the procedure for replacing all light bulbs.

 

Do you mean the reflector/light in the wheel arch? Because mine's cracked too and I looked for a replacement, but couldn't find one (R56 Cooper). If you'd be kind enough to pass along your supplier, I'd be really grateful.
