Can't figure out if I have Power Folding Mirrors?

ok, I searched the forum and other websites, but I still can't figure this out.

My car has heated seats and the headlight washer jets, so I'm assuming I have cold weather package, so why don't my mirrors fold when I twist the switch to the side?

My build date is 07/07 was power-fold mirror not part of the package back then?

Correct. No PFM in the earlier build 07s.

I had to order mine (and pay for them) separately.

thats disappointing, and I take it from other threads discussing this, that there is no easy mod to make them fold even if I have the coldweather package.

Ya know, I had always thought that was the most senseless of options and that I'd never use them...WRONG! Once I realized we were trying to fit and easily maneuver 3 vehicles in and out of a 2 car garage (2 small cars and a Vespa), we immediately experienced the value in the folding mirrors and now use them EVERY SINGLE DAY (and would actually pay extra for them)!!!

Sorry, I have nothing to share as far as adding them, but good luck with it! :)

I live in Chicago and often have to squise by when some one double parks on a one ways street in a way that makes the whole street that person's own drive way:mad: . This would be a usefull feature.

I mean it would not be a problem if they stood close to the actual parked cars, but they feel like they need 10 feet of space.

Otherwise I alway forl my mirror when I park on the street. It helps with people on bycicles who ride close to parked cars.
