Vanity Mirror Doesn't Work 09' MC

I just got my 09' MC yesterday and now today the first "problem" arose today. the passenger's vanity mirror no longer works when the flap is lifted. It was working yesterday when I picked up the car, but not now. Driver's side works fine.

Is this a simple fix I can do myself or do I need to bring to dealer?

TIA!

Golly, that's the first I've heard of a mirror not working...usually, you just look in it and it reflects your image.

Are you a vampire by chance? Kidding aside, check the bulb if that's what you're talking about...

Hah, I was soo tired when I wrote the original post that I forgot to type the word "light."

They do go on if you press hard against the back of the vanity mirror, but once you release the pressure they go back off again. So, I assume it's a connection issue.

You could try taking it apart to fix yourself but since you just bought the car you might as well let MINI take care of it. If you are so inclined you could try to raise the point to them and maybe get some goodies out of it.

I had the same problem with my 09 JCW, the passenger side never worked. The dealership fixed it for me no questions, though it did take them over 3 hours??
