Rob! (er, Rob, right??) haha- those look really nice! Nice job on them. You may need to show me a close up sometime when it gets warmer... I did something similar before winter that lasted about a month. Cheapo lights ended up sucking, but a pair of hellas may be in my future. Also I agree, having them spread apart more makes the stance of the MINI wider, which is nice. Just dont go any further apart, as you'll start blocking the intake tubing on the driver side (you can see it if you open the hood up)
Keep us updated on how they hold up!

Can anyone provide detailed instructions, part list, pictures, etc on how to make these mounts? I guess due to the age of this thread, most of the pics have been removed. The linked thread is the same. Thanks.

Spread them a bit, it widens the look of the stance otherwise great job!

I got a set of Hella 500 at walmart on clearence for 40.00 too bad they only had one set.... :( im about to make my own mount ill post some pics.....
