It does work like that but I would have them finish the job, it would look more complete.

Oh, I say leave it. Both sides will be too busy in my opinion. And right now, it looks fantastic.

thanks all. i've decided to leave it. to "finish" it they would have to take off the 3M clear bra too. not worth it they did do the back too, i was going to do the roof in a contrasting stripe, but they said they couldn't strip the sun roofs. as you see the rear isn't to the floor, so it went back today for that completion. future mods include black rims, a brake kit (i may paint existing calipers red in the meantime). i never thought of red wheel caps, but set in black rims i think will look hot!

It looks great. Only have them changed if you're going to have a lot of mental anguish because your explicit instructions were not followed. Hopefully the confirmation in this thread that your MINI looks AWESOME will help eliminate that anxiety.

I think it looks nice...but if it was mine and I knew it was supposed to be the other way... I would completely obsess about it... I probably would go back and get it redone because everytime I looked at it.. I knew it was wrong... Good Luck with your decision!!!

I have to agree with Wolfeee, but then again OCD does have it drawbacks!
The car looks awesome though!

Love it

I think the red just accentuates the stripes this way better. On both sides however would over power & make it look too busy. My 2 cents.

It would never have occurred to me to just do the outsides, but I really like it.

That red accent is subtle, yet really makes it pop. Very unique.

+1 I concur it is just fine the way it is...

Yup, less is better in this case... Subtle yet making a statement... It shouts out, Racy yet sophisticated!

Now get out there and motor!

Buy a Roll of red stripping and put it on yourself and see how it looks and if you don't like it you'll only be out a few dollars and it's simple to put on and take off. Most Auto Supply Stores carry stripping tape. Just a thought!

No Sketch is the one that is having trouble decicing rather he should get a roof rack, or an M7 strut brace with strut plates first.
