I saw a princess today and I didn't say hi : 0 (

Okey So today I'm getting of from the 163 @ friars road (Mission Valley, San Diego CA), I get to the stop light, make a left U turn and all off the sudden I see a very beautiful girl driving a blue Cooper S with white roof and stripes, so I wait to see if she tuns around for me to wave (because I've been waving to a lot of people who don't wave back) but she doesn't and I don't want to look like an idiot, so I did not wave and just kept on going to my destination.

While I'm parking I see her behing me looking for a spot, So I get off the car, she turns arround and I smile, I guess she briefly smiled too.
So I went "O well, I need to get going anyways", Im late for work.

I go into Denny's, order some breakfest and at the same time I'm looking to see if she is coming in, but then I see she goes in to the gas station instead.

Now while I'm wating for my order, I'm making some calls, and she walks in , but she is on the phone also, I hang up my call, but now she seems to be looking for someone inside Denny's

So I'm waiting for her to hang up for me to say "hey nice car!" but all of the sudden I hear "your food is ready".... great.. it's never that quick...

Now I'm walking out the door, she still seem to be on the phone..
and while I'm getting to my car, I turn around and she is walking back too... Now here is why I'm bumping my head on my desk! :impatient: she passes by and I was about to say, Nice MINI or something! but I didn't ...

I did not want to look like a stalker, but now I'm thinking I should have said something, since we were there at the same time, It wasn't like after her or something.

Oh well, story of my lfe... Now if some one knows her (and she is not married or something like that) I'll be more than happy to invite her a coffee, or to the MINI ralley in SD...
What else can I do, I'll just keep hitting my head on the desk all day

When you get old, it's not the failures or the times when you look like an arse that you will regret, it's the what if's. ;) Could have been Miss Right.

Or at least in my case, Miss Right Now :X

Because going to Denny's will make you less late for work? "I'll have the Rooty, Tooty, Fresh and Frooty and a time machine."

Hummmm! I think there's no sense in you doing this http://www.sunshineminis.org/forums/.../eusa_wall.gif when you can just give her one of these http://www.sunshineminis.org/forums/...iconwaving.gifthe next time your roads cross paths.
Just don't go out searching for her or you might just be considered a stalker in training

Good thing you did NOT do it! Then you would just be getting a divorce within 5-7 years, and probably have to pay child support for another 15-18 years.:eek2:

You got out cheep!

Better to just look at interweb pron and not have to worry bout that crud!

Yeah, you'll see her again. And if you do, get some cajones and say something. If not, it wasn't meant to be.

Good luck!

tag Sep 3, 2008 05:23 AM

Yeah, I know her THAT"S MY SISTER you jerk!!! She called me to complain about a stalker that kept following her around. Wait until I get off of work and I'll meet you at Denny's and give you a real GrandSlam!!!

I suggest Aesop's Fox and Grapes for this one.

She is prolly married, gay, or on the way to the clinic for a penicillin shot.

Whew! Dodged a bullet there!

That's IHOP, we do not confuse IHOP and Denny's. It's just . . . wrong.

So did she...she could have been a bit more friendly and less absorbed in her precious phone!! She'll probably hook up w/ some loser...that's how these things go it seems.

chinq6t Sep 3, 2008 10:32 AM

MiniNova Sep 3, 2008 01:43 PM

Thanks for all the replies, it feels like a big NAM family, I'll know what to do and what not to do next time.

Noegel Sep 8, 2008 09:18 PM

Screw it, man! You did mess up! "Hey, nice MINI!" Simple!

Worst she can do is say, "Uh, okay... weirdo (or some other horrifically obscene phrases)".

But hey, at least you will not have a "What if" thought later in your life. Besides, I find that MINI drivers are, on average, more friendly than other vehicle drivers.

jluckyfish Sep 9, 2008 09:12 AM

I've noticed a distinct limp in your walk lately...probably from constantly shooting yourself in the FOOT! :)

x uh oh x Sep 9, 2008 09:24 AM

Pooooor guy. Well...if it's kismet, you'll meet again. Just no stalking. Stalking = bad. http://www.millan.net/minimations/sm...trenchcoat.gif

matty125 Sep 9, 2008 09:42 AM

Dude its like this. Woman like jerks, or at least thats what attracts most of them IN THE BEGINING. You played it cool, If shes really hot, then she knows it and she is use to a bunch of silly Fukcs:) chasing her. You played it right not saying nuttin at all. I dont know how big an area you live in, but Im sure youll see her again. If you are a sharp lookin guy...Man, you have already built up interest because YOU KNOW SHE SAW YOU, now shes thinking this dude saw me , Im hot and he didnt even hit on me....WHY not. Im serious dude, you never even call a woman back the next day after you meet her, youd seem too lonely or needy. It cause's extreme intrigue. next you know you run into her in person and the rest is up too you, hope you got Social; skills. Im no gigalo or pimp, but hookin up is a game, much like poker:sly:  To get in the right mind set, pop in some: Schwayze , thats a music artist the song BUZZIN!!!!

BEAVR Sep 9, 2008 09:55 AM

life's short. if you see her car again, run into it. crashing cars is a great way to meet people, and she can't just go away until you've paid to fix her car.
