Tristan thinks he's back in England.
We're taking a longish trip this weekend, and I was checking the MPG on the computer display and it was saying 32.something, about what I'd expect. We stopped at the hotel then took off again, this time the MPG was reading 40.something.
That's weird, but as I know 32 US gallons is the same as 40 imperial gallons, so I decided to check the language configuration. The configuration had been set to English (UK), which I know sets the gallon to be imperial gallons, not US gallons (thanks to some experimenting when I first got Tristan). I set it back to English (US), and after turning him off and on again, the MPG is back to 32 again. Really weird that the setting changed seemingly spontaneously. I also wonder if those claiming 40 MPG really have a computer which is pining for home like that. |
good point - maybe.. just maybe..:sly:
