Key Fob question

So I have had my MCSm for two weeks now and for the life of me I can't seem to get consistent locking/unlocking of doors. Sometimes the doors will just unlock sometimes I have to wait a few minutes hitting the button and I have had to use the real key twice. Have there been any problems with new fobs? I have used key fobs and this one is really irking me.

Go back to the dealer and have your sales dude and or service tech try it. Better yet, schedule an appointment.

Write a few notes with dates/times and how the car did strange locking
That gives you credibility when you show up.

Sounds like you might have a bad battery in the fob. Advice to go to the dealer is good - this definitely isn't normal behavior.

hey i have had the same problem and i have a really dumb question related to the Key fob...when your rear seats are down, does your key fob not open the rear door? or is it just my car?

I have never had my back seats down but the key fob problem also occurs with poping the rear hatch. What distance should the fob be working at for the lock/unlock function?

I always have my rear seats down and I've never had an issue opening the rear door.
