Those who switched from OEM ContiproContacts to Non Runflats please comment

I know that the OEM ContiProContacts (MCS :195/55/16) are reported to be better than other runflats, but I want feedback from anyone who had these and then switched to a really good non-runflat performance all-season tire for their MCS.
They seem Ok but I'm not sure if what I'm feeling handling/ride wise is a MCS thing or more of a OEM tire thing. That makes sense, right?

Getting off the runflats will make a noticable improvement in the ride quality. A replacement in 205/50/16 is a good choice if you want to keep the OEM wheels for the time being,

I didn't run the ContiProContacts long enough to really get a good feeling for them, but they were surprisingly good.

I switched form Dunflop runflats to Bridgestone RE960AS. Went to 205/45-17. I like them alot better than the RFs.

IMHO---in a tire test, I think the RF would corner at higher G and have better turn in "feel". However, I find RFs to be non communicative tires. They corner well but also break away with a lot less warning. I can drive my car FASTER on the non RFs. Perhaps I can be more agressive because I can sense their break away point better. This is alll pure speculation --no empirical data to back it up.

The ride on non runfalts is siginifcantly better. No speculation there.

As a sidebar...a friend of mine had the 17 Conti all seasons on his R56 MCS
and when he drove my car he said---you have better tires than I do.
