What's in your secret compartment?
 

I found that it's a perfect hidey hole for a Kel Tec PF-9. But of course that's legal here in Tennessee. Don't try this at home if your in my previous home state of CA!

a special little book :wink: and a SLR camera remote!

I keep my secrets in secret compartment...can't tell ya :-)

Sunpass(because i can never find it when i need it)

I had trouble at first thinking about what I wanted to keep in there.
Now, it's spare AA Batteries and 1 of my Walkie Talkies

Minimag flashlight, tire pressure gauge, leatherman multi tool, pen and small note pad.

So I haven't taken delivery of my Mini yet - where is this secret compartment??? :)

Currently, my GPS and a spare pair of sunglasses.

A mini stereo cable for using the AUX jack, and a shift knob cozy. :)

The MINI CD case I bought years ago is an absolutely perfect fit in the secret compartment. :nod:

I didn't get my Mini yet either, but can you lock this compartment or the glove box?

Since I have a 1st Gen. MINI, my secret compartment is SO secret that
neither me nor the CIA know what's in it, or even where it is.

The secret compartment does not lock. The glovebox doesn't either as far as I can tell.

Is a wonderful fit for my radar detecter.:wink: I put one of those little can huggies over it that looks like a Hawaiian t-shirt. We joke when I take it out that I'm taking my buddy out of his room and undressing him.:lol:

Officially called the dashboard storage compartment, the so-called secret compartment (which sounds sexier anyway) doesn't lock. To open it you merely push the dash in front of the passenger's seat. So I've booby-trapped mine with an attack albatross.

I put my Ipod and when I'm at the gym in goes my wallet and phone. :thumbsup:

It must be a later than 2003 MINI item as I wasted a half hour going through my owners manual looking for this supposed compartment to not find anything about it in the manual. And no amount of pushing on the dash did a darn thing. Bummer for us older MINI owners. I was hopeful we had something cool like that also.
