This likely won't change for sometime. As it is MINI only sells two different model lines: Cooper and Clubman. Combine that with the fact that MINI limits the amount of cars it produces each year for all global markets, which means every distribution channel followed by the retail network only gets a "handful" of cars per year. This keeps demand high and supply low. Don't forget that you can pretty much have your MINI just the way you want it too with all the option combinations. Even after MINI launches its own "SAV" demand will likely stay right where it is, high, and supply, low.

Hmmm, I guess I have to wait a few more months to see how things are going before I get all hyped up on getting a Mini. The performance, mileage, and cost ratio is one of the best IMO.
