Hi All, Just Ordered Two 09' Jcw's

Greetings all,

First let me take a moment to say THANKS for all the great information I was able to gather here at NAM prior to making my decision.

Now for the good stuff. I reserved 2 JCW's today with June build dates.  I'll be going in on Thursday to spec. them out. One's for me and one's for my son. We did what it looks like many of those who choose the JCW over the loaded MCS have done. Performance with minimal extras over the MCS with all the goodies. It was actually a pretty easy decison for us.

Thanks again, I'm sure I'll be spending alot of time here on NAM:thumbsup:

Let the waiting begin.

I bought my son a new pair of swim trunks the other day.

Congrats... another multi-MINI family.

Thanks guys, he's a great kid actually not a kid he's in the process of finishing up paramedic school and was willing to part with his Rubicon to go the way of the MINI.

Had a feeling that one was coming.

Were actually buying 3 through our family business, my brother in law is getting an MCS since he has to keep his F250 to pull his boat. This was a cost cutting measure since we spend roughly 50k a year in fuel between the 3 of us. I couldn't think of a better way to fix our fuel problem.

04' Diesel Excursion for sale:grin:

FRISCO, I am sooo jealous!

WOW! MINImania runs deep in this family group!

I wholeheartedly approve! If one is good, then two is better and three... Well let's just say that there's no such thing as overkill when it comes to owning MINIs!

3 MINIs and two are JCWs to boot... Carry on Frisco, you got your own club in the making!

Enjoy & Motor On! :)

Crazy Jeepers, it seems this place is being overun with them. I hope he at least wheeled it once. Nothing more shameful then a Rubi that hasn't been wheeled.

It's seen it's share of the Fl mud.

Wow! Impressive! I was a little concerned that you were putting a "kid" behind the wheel of something that expensive, especially since it encourages aggressive driving. Couldn't quite see the logic in that. Relieved to hear he's actually grown. Congrats!

Congrats Frisco!

A great kid deserves a nice MINI, and I can't think of many more deserving professionals-to-be than paramedics... bless them for all the lives they save.

At least after a hard day at work he can unwind on the way home.

My stepdaughter wanted a MINI when she graduated HS, but she got a civic instead... I did promise I'll get her a MINI once she finishes college though. :)

wbarnhill Jun 11, 2008 11:31 AM

Now now, you all are giving Frisco too much credit. If you look deeper, you'll see his underlying motive. What do you think would happen if the son got a chance to drive the new sole JCW? He'd want to drive it more! And it's just not right to make Dad sit at home while he's out motoring, so the obvious solution is two! Then the son can drive all he wants and Dad doesn't have to worry about the mileage or the loss of use of his very own JCW.

Hope you both enjoy your new MINIs! (And note to self: start business and purchase MINIs as an expense...)

SLEDGE-O-MATIC Jun 11, 2008 01:41 PM

Amen my Brotha!!
