She's on the Boat!

Hello NAM.
lol, after waiting 4 days i finally get my account to be cleared for posting threads and replying to existing ones.
Just wanted to share my joy in that my BRG MCS is now en route to the states. and now for some newbie questions:

1 - what is the average time it takes for the ship to get across the pond?

2 - is there a BRG thread out there? i searched but could not find any.

3 - and could someone please tell me if i am getting ripped off by my dealer.
i wanted to get the white sport stripes applied. they quoted it to be
650 dollars?!! is that real? please tell me thats a lie or a major mistake.
luckily they will inform me when the car arrives and confirm that i still want
the goodies installed (am also getting the jcw engine/suspension upgrade).

thanks! and hope to hear from you guys.

What part of the country do you live in? There are three Vehicle Distribution Centers (VDC)....two on the east coast and one in Cali.

Not sure...but it does seem high. Many folks go with aftermarket stripes as they have a bit more control on design. If you have a lot of stripes to do, the dealer price may be fair, but you could do the same job cheaper (but w/ a bit more hassle). Now is a good time to investigate...several NAM vendors do stripes.

thanks! to both of you. :)

Aftermarket stripes are cheaper than OEM and you have more selection. Check out Aesthetic Creations in the Vendor section too. They aren't too hard to install like most vinyl graphics. Just take your time while doing it and everything will be good.

Average time across the pond is 1-2 weeks.

JCW stage 1 is a little pricey IMHO. I like the sound of some other aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems more than JCW. Check out youtube for videos on how it will sound.

The captain of the ship reads NAM everyday and he turns his ship around if he sees someone make a thread about it.
