It is my favorite R56. I shot this picture Satuday just before the farewell dinner.

This car makes me want an R56, but I'd like to know:
is that the factory aero kit with painted arches? If so, that is the first car I've seen with the factory (not JCW) aero kit that I liked. Also, I'd like to know what suspension you're using, and what the tire size and wheel size/offset is. Beautiful car!

It is AMAZING how much better the R56 looks with a drop. The R53 looks better with a drop, but the R56 goes from 'okay' to 'wow!'.

Agreed....the wheel gap and 4x4 stance of the stock r56 is a big turn off....but once you get rid of the wheel gap, it starts looking GREAT :thumbsup:

The Evil Genius (Way) is using it as a development platform for his line of mods. It has become a verifiable monster.

Thanks, BSUCardinalfan! Sorry I didn't catch this thread earlier. My wife just pointed it out to me. I'm glad the glare from my bald, sunburned head didn't ruin the picture :)

I got the hypersport package, which came with the factory aero kit, sport suspension (didn't need, but it was included), and the underbody aero panels. I got the painted arch tops from Way.

The offset on the 17x7.5 Rota RBs is +45, and the tires are 215/40/17 Kumho MXes. They have a tiny bit of stretch to fit, but tuck nicely in place :)

The suspension is Cross coilovers, also from Way. Expensive, but instantly addictive. I really want a second set to go on our R53 now :)

The other thing that helps remove the SUV look if you can't lower the car is to hit the rear camber links with some black paint. The guy I'm talking with in the picture did it to his R56 before the fall dragon, and it made a huge difference.

I really like it. I love my R53, and I have been having mixed reactions to most R56s I've seen. When I saw yours, I said 'okay, do it like THAT, then.'
