2008: MC Grill for MCS? Can it be done?

2008: MC Grill
I'd like to make my new MCS look like this:

It looks like this would be do-able. Does anyone know for certain that the grill from a 2008 MC will fit into a 2008 MCS? Does anyone know how much the grill is?

If so, would anyone w/ a 2008 MC be interested in trading grills for the MCS grill?

Regards,

Jeff

Yeah it's possible but the MC grill would need to have the backing trimmed for more airflow.I was quoted 80 bucks from the dealer.

Just an FYI that the S grill will not work on the MC. If you want black on a MC, you have to get the JCW grill. So the trade might not work in your favor!

Well, nevermind. Do you know how much a JCW grill costs?

I've seen posts by people who said they have done it. However, it is not a direct fit and requires modification to the mounting tabs or holes.

Yeah I know what you're saying. I was just coming from the point of view of take one out, put one in, without adjusting. I initially tried an S grill but it looked like more trouble than it was worth. Plus I had a JCW right there that snapped in easily.

Well - thanks everyone. I was hoping that it would be a pretty straight-forward process. I'll have to think that one over ...
