ALTA! ALTA! ALTA! ALTA!!!

Alta rocks! I just wanted to give Adam and Ken recognition for great service. I am buying a few things from them and they price matched on an item and made sure everything else went smoothly. These guys are great to work with!!!

suggestion: just wait until it's actually on the car and (hopefully) working and fitting properly before doing the jig. "it fit fine on our car" is something heard all too often from them, unfortunately.

I have also experienced fantastic customer service from ALTA. Hope you enjoy the performance once you get everything installed!

Fair enough. So far I have only commented on what I have experienced, and it has been top notch.

PGT: I know you have (putting it politely) mixed feelings about ALTA and PERRIN, but I truly think your comment and subsequent reply reaches a new level of poor posting. If you have a poopy pants type remark, make it in the Q&A threads or something, but seriously?

On a serious note (again not to post it here) but if you have a current concern that needs addressed, PLEASE address it to me, my staff or in the appropriate forum.

OP: THANKS A BUNCH FOR THE BIZ NEZ!

BerJsn: NICE CAR? Where have I seen that before? hmmmmmmmmm Looking good, glad you are enjoying it!

Thanks folks!

oh, they're not mixed at all Adam - don't fret, I'm quite sure of how I feel. I was polite and accurate in my comments (and the install is what matters most, not just the buying experience). I'm sorry you don't agree, but from my own personal experience with you and Jeff, plus seeing feedback from members here and other forums, my opinion is valid. You guys are on the right track with improving things and I mean that will all sincerity

If you want 'poopy pants' type comments, I can oblige, but I generally try to keep it high level as much as possible

I absolutely cannot wait to get my alta CAI... I'm wondering if I should call local MINI dealers to get a feel for how they would react to non-OEM parts in engine bay..

The CAI is worth every penny. IMO. and while it was a little difficult to connect up to the fresh air hose, I wouldn't call it anything to get upset over.

Same here, bought a bunch of stuff at the open house, but they ran out of the rear exhaust sections before I made it around to the shipping bay, thankfully with AMVIV and a huge roadtrip coming up, they came through with a last minute solution
So we'll be cruising down the coastline & back with a sexy exhaust note

No issues on the install or finish on the Alta CAI in my old R53. Loved the sound and the seat o' da pants feel. Looking forward to doin' the same to my R56 although I think the damn thing is fast enough right outta da box.

Alta was one of the firsts to mod the R53 and gave way to many happy customers like me.

Ive been in the business long enough to know that you cant get please everyone all of the time but from what i've seen and heard from 98 percent of the people that have worked with ALTA is that they have been great! Easy folks to talk to and they dont mind taking the time to listen!
