Sun shades for rear windows - feedback request

Hi all! I'm looking at purchasing the black mesh sun shades for the rear windows. I'd like to hear feedback from those of you who have them. I'm trying to keep the interior from getting too much intense sunlight, as the car is parked outside when I'm at work. Also, if you keep them installed all the time, how is the visibility out the rear window?

Thank you!

they are great, but you'll need to add a little velcro to keep them up at the top of the window....visibility is fine for the most part

Pictures anyone? Anywhere besides minimania sell them? They are expensive!

try morristown....they are very well made and i have them on the sides too...they also fold up neatly and fit into a supplied bag which can fit behind the front seat

Thanks, I'll check with them. I've ordered plenty from them before.

tab piece?

I got my rear side window fitted shades from Morristown. Perfect for the kids in the back! Anyway, the instructions show some tab piece to hold it along the window edge that didn't come with mine. My guess is that tab piece applies to the R53 and not the R56? Either way, one holds very snug while the other is a little loose and may need velcro at the top as suggested by flaco.

Might be, or they could've just done away with the tab piece and sewed on that Mini tag in its place but didn't bother changing the directions sorta like how the intermittent window wiper button at the end of the stalk wasn't included in our manuals. It was just to make it easy to pull the shade off the window so I guess a tag would be cheaper than using a piece of plastic. Just got mine, too, today and both fit really snug. I like 'em.

Another cover for the sunroof is silvered sunscreen material that slides between the mesh screeen and the window. Keeps it very cool. Can eithermake them yourself or order them on line.
