MINI Emblem vs Bentley Emblem
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum I have an 07 so I thought I would post here. I just noticed that the Bently emblem on thier cars is similar to the MINI emblem and vice versa. Just seems neat or is there a story behind the two.
Bentley looks like wings and MINI similar but without the detail. |
It's because both car companies are owned by Steak 'n Shake!

Gasp!
By the way, why aren't there any Steak 'n Shakes in the Mid-Atlantic? |
Austin-Healey, Morgan, and even Chrysler, too...lots of automaker-logos feature wings. Must be some primal connection to flight/speed.

We had one in Madison for maybe 2 years and it died...there was one further south in Janesville too (or maybe it was Beloit, I don't remember) and I think it's gone now too.
I don't think there are any in California :( |

You have them in Dallas??? Grrr. We had them in Houston back in the 80's, but the oil boom went bust so they melted away. They are a "must do" when we go back to our old hometown St. Louis. We have salivated for them for nearly 40 years!
Me...I just miss White Castle... |
