Naked Center Stack on 2007 Cooper

I have seen pictures from those who have gotten decals to put over the blank areas of their center stacks near the lone volume control on their 2007. Where do they get them, or did they make them?

I know you can get them from aesthetic creations, one of the vendors on here. They are around $30 I believe, and they have most of the MINI body colors. I am thinking about getting a chili red one for my MCS.

Mike at Aesthetic Creations made a custom color CR/B checker one for me. I'll try to take a photo of it this weekend.
It really adds some color to the plain, black console.

That looks great! Was it hard to do? Now I"m not sure if I want to get a chili red one or a red/black checkered one!

Not hard at all.
Just clean the console then peel and stick like a regular decal. I did have to use a heat gun (blow dryer woulda worked too) to heat the surface up because it was a little below 65 degrees.

You're quite welcome.
May I add that you have impeccable taste in your choice of color and interior appointments!

I got one from Aesthetic Creations too. I have the carbon fiber one and I think it looks great! Mike's going to get me the top piece when he's got more in stock. I would definitely recommend going with an AC decal - they are top notch!

I really like that red checkered one...looks like it goes well with the interior!

For those who have the sticker: What do you think of the quality? Are you happy with the results?

If you saw the decal in real life, you could understand why the price is a little high. It's made from a thick material (vinyl?) about 1/16" thick. It's kinda cushiony. The edges are sorta rounded and gives the decal a raised appearance,or depth,or something. Can't quite explain it. It's much classier than a plain paper-thin decal.

I would definitely order it again. I think that it dresses up the plain black space quite well.

Nope.

The overlay ( decided it was too nice to call a decal) comes in 2 pieces; the big main part and a little sliver for above the CD player.
Mike did an excellent job of designing the overlay and it fits right over all *****.
Very easy. If the dash is clean and warm enough, the application takes about 2-1/2 minutes.
