Returning MINI S owner... from the UAE
Just wanted to drop in and say hi from the UAE.
I used to own a Mini Cooper S (2003 model DS/B).
The new Turbo motor is Worlds apart in terms of torque and just keeping it in 6th gear....(although I miss the supercharger's whine!) I think that the noise issue will be remedied once I add an intake + exhaust
My car is a 2007 (02/07 built) CR/B with sunroof(had to tint it) and manual. Unfortunately, dealers in here don't order the LSD, which makes it easier to choose the Quaife..

The site has been a great help since day one of ownership...

For 5 years, I have been visiting the dealer and checking out the Mini. I traded my R53 MCS for the E46 M3, and maybe(just maybe) the M3 might go to pay respect for the Mini!!(Mini Demons revenge I guess!)
Very fun and always a great handler. We have lots of roundabous and its fun going around them in a Mini. People tend to think that its an economy car, but once I give them a ride, their minds (and stomachs) change!

I hope your Mini with camel power is stronger than my Mini with horse power..
Your Mini should be good compliment to your other cars in the garage...
By the way, OS LSD looks nice. Give it a try!!!
