Who's recently lost their Mini and what's the plan now?
 

I just traded my '06 MCS in for (unmentionable) thereby cutting my monthly stroke by nearly $300. It was a beatuiful Royal Grey w/ Silver top and full chrome plus sport/premium/cold etc. I'm pretty sad to have lost that limited edition color but we just moved into a new house and my wife is in her first week as a manager for Timberland. Upsides are her 50% discount and that I'll be primary benificiary. She's also going to be making good money to help out (going back to work after 4 years as a stay home mom). But I decided to take one for the team until we get the extra income rolling and the job seems stable.

/me still cries as I no longer get waves.

Anyhoo...the plan is:

Stick about $800 a month aside for the new Mini. I figure that'll get me lounge leather, nav, and JCW easy sometime next year. The 200+ bhp should be available then and this dark chrome sounds pretty sexy...but is it just a rumor? Anyone have a url? I'm just hoping the JCW is fairly customizable because I'm not a fan of the skirts. Much rather have chrome than plastic...even if it's plastic chrome.
