Has anybody tried the K&N 57i Gen II ?

As the title states has anybody installed the K&N 57i Gen II CAI part number 57A-6033 ? I'm seriously considering buying one but at $325CAN (with no returns) although it looks good I'd like to know what to expect. Thanks.

This is not the CAI you are looking for, but a few people have tried this much cheaper solution. I have it on my R56 . don't know about any power gains, but it sounds pretty nice.

Thanks for the idea JDR but I have a MC (non turbo) so that would not work as shown because my duct, etc, is different. I guess I could save approx $250 and wait for a drop in filter to become available, which I will do if the reviews on the one I listed say it isn't worth the money.

In the meantime if someone has installed the system I listed above I'd love to hear from you.
