Well, the Maersk Wind has left Zeebrugge on time. Seems some of the other owners with earlier delivery couldn't find their cars in the WW site till after sailing. Plus, the captain isn't keen on updating position on Sailwx. Seems to be the same on the Courage as I can't find either ship.

Best of luck everyone.

MgibraceNo joy this am. Maybe gforce and I are on the next boat, tho I can't imagine why(luck?). Seeing as other west coasters already have spots on the ship(booked in mid May) and we don't makes me suspicious. I really won't worry till the ship sails Mon nite. Next ship is the Madame Butterfly on the 11th. "Girly boat" for a Girly car" (check the other thread on girly cars)

so dog, a car in 2 wks? Cool!
Yeah that would be great. We are going on vacation week of the 16th-24th and She might be there for us when we get back. I can't believe not one of you have the same ride across the pond. I realise you west coasters are on a diff ship but am I the only MINI on the COURAGE? Hope she don't get lonely. Well I hope your all on the next possible voyage! Keep you spirits up as I've had my 1st MINI for about 2 years now and I love it still like the day I brought it home.

Mgibrace,
I'm using my original car to now see how the WW tracking works. It's been "received at terminal" since 5/31 but there still isn't any other record since then as far as shipping. I searched on the booking number and there were 397 cars listed with that same booking number. All of them seem to be MINIs from the VINs.

It could be that there are multiple booking numbers from MINI for each ship. I don't know if 397 would all the cars from a weeks production that would be coming to the Western US.

I'll post here if I see any change of the status for this car.

Damn you Southampton dock workers! Couldn't you guys load one little car? I can't imagine my poor MINI sitting at the docks for more than a week and getting exposed to the salty sea breeze. Oh and those seagulls crapping on my car, MY MINI!!
ARRRGGGGHHHH!!

G-force you have to breathe man. Good God Man. Get a hold of yourself. Three of these in 1 post . Remember these are very proper Seagulls, very refined, their British. They wouldn't do that to the Mini. Maybe a Focus but not a Mini.

I put in my order last week!!! Thanks to being friends with a MINI dealer, I was expedited up the line (another dealership owed my friend a favour). Apparently, my car will be in production next week, and I should be a very happy man come late July!!

Now, once I figure out how to track it, I'll be implusively checking it every hour!

The car I'm waiting for didn't make it but the original misordered car is on the MAERSK WIND. I figure my current car missed it by a day or two

Perma-stuck in Southampton. I'm beginning to suspect some stupid longshoreman took my car for a joyride or something.

Doesn't appear I made it either, at least as far as the WW website goes. I keep getting no info. So, either bad info or no ship. Tried to push my MA, but to no avail. I guess we'll find out soon enough........

Birdman, go to first gear on general forum and that'll better explain it than the stuff scattered thruout this thread.

Hey finally someone on the same ship, I'm hoping it shouldn't take more than a week to ten days after they dock in New York. We should get them about the same time I think. I forgot to look if you posted specs. Do you know if any work needs to be done at the VDC? And welcome to NAM I see this is your 1st post.

Rover, How'd you find booking #s and 397 VINs? Hey, if we didn't make it, we'll be on the Madame Butterfly leaving the 11th unless another line takes us.

Gforce, bet you make the Toronto.

I think G-force might charter his own ship soon. There is only so much a man can take!

Mgibrace,
I took the booking number from the WW records for that other car. When one searches on a booking number, one gets a list of all the cars included in it. Choosing "print friendly" gives a single long list.
