What's NOT on the Configurator???

So, I've heard mention of clear (white) turn signals and a different leatherette option than grey/black...

Is this true in either case?

What are other options that don't show up on the Mini configurator? (US version)

(as a side note, I noticed you can get a white top for Pure Silver on an MC, but not an MCS... hmmm)

The opition for clear turn signals is on the configurator. Are you sure there's two options for the leatherette?

Leatherette is fine as long as you like carbon black. Trust me.

The white/clear lens is an option in the configurator. About the only thing you might be able to do at the dealer, versus using the configurator is mix options that the configurator does not allow. And that is iffy at best.

Sometimes when I have used the confuserator, not all the options have been there, using the slide bar. Other times they have. Be careful of that. If it happens, close out of it, wait and go back into it. Sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Yet another MINI "curiosity."

Heh heh, I was configuring an MCS for my gf the other day when I noticed a discrepancy in the pricing. Turns out the center armrest was INCL free of charge while the SS option was automatically deleted when we added the sport package!

The only thing I know of that's not in the configurator is the wood steering wheel.

There are no visual cues for accessories such as the JCW kit or the racks. You basically end up buying them on blind faith.

Nope. 'tis why I asked. :)

Thanks.

If you choose cold weather package, the config. will not let you choose folding mirrors, until you deselect cold weather. Dealer's system let me have both, when I ordered.

On "Step 1" "PAINT IT", under "DETAILS", "White Turn Signals" $100. A few things seem like they're in a funky place.

Ah-HA! d-dubya, I was thinking FRONT turn signals all this time! My eyes just glossed over that option showing rear signals. Pfffffffffffft! lol

So... ya can't get the fronts in white then, huh? ;)

When you order {white rear signals } you automatically get both ,front < rear and side repeaters in white, IMO well worth it.

Yes the front signals are white with an amber bulb, NOT LENS. which can be changed to the SILVER type for total whiteness. !!

Same for Xenon?

4xAAA May 22, 2007 01:07 PM

Yep Dog Rocket, same for xenon. The fronts are white turn signals with silver bulbs.
