R56 Why the hell do the new MINIs look so bloated?

Well before the thread gets closed I'd just like to post a link to a thread at the MiniNuts forum where some of our friends here like to cut up on the R56, the R56's designers, and Downs Syndrome children (when its convenient to bash the R56).

I'm not even going to go on about what I think of this crew as on NAM we're not supposed be commenting about the people but about the cars. You can go read it for yourself and see what an upstanding group of Mini owners we have there.

Yes, many of the MININUTS (myself included) feel that the R56 looks like the R53's retarded brother, and it should never have been let out of its cage.
