Took the car on an errand and had to run to the u.p , so the car was driven basically 11hr straight. It ran great, no hiccups.
with an avg speed of 58mph it pulled 32.7mpg , so ille take that !
The car is OFFICIALLY my daughter !!! Passed her driver's test and has been maintaining a 4.3gpa AND while doing stuff like playing Dorothy ( lead role ) in a community theater..
I couldn't be more proud of the kid !!!!!
She ABSOLUTELY loves the car too. She had the option to sell it and pick something out but she wanted to keep the r55. Whata awesome kid. Lol.
Her 1st mods !!!! Floormats , steering wheel cover and CD's to fill the pop open cd storage and take advantage of the hk sound system. Her cd? System of a down , evesseance , Korn, another system of a down amd greenday..
so even Her choice is music is good..
Hahaha gotta love the "meanmug" while driving , just like her pops. We look angry but were happy , were chill..
I removed the coilovers too and installed the stock jcw coils and springs from my r58. So it rides much smoother for her and it sits much higher so she doesn't have to worry about killing the front lip or bumper...
Put new semi metallic pads on because I noticed a little noise coming from one side wgen the car came to a complete stop.. it turned out the backing plate had separated from one pad and on the other side was a jammed up slide pin. And omg , I couldn't believe how hard it was to get that dang slide pin out and fixed..
And i didva partial brake fluid change too..
