HELP!!! Novice -R55 Clubman '14 can't locate ECT sensor to replace
 

Just purchased a 2014 Mini cooper S clubman don't even have the 45day tag off of it and it started having issues engine light came on and received code stating ECT sensor is bad. Purchased a new sensor and have been searching the internet and my car for where in the hell this thing goes. I see a lot of videos and pictures of the R56 model but no good info on the R55. I am a novice with fixing cars. I know this is an easy fix that I can do if I could find where it goes. If you can be of any assistance I would be so thankful and grateful. Any help is much appreciated

R56 and R55 and essentially the same in the engine. The coolant temp sensor is in the thermostat housing.
